Architected and implemented firmware for the device's fluid controls and GUI, including a novel UI management structure for bare metal embedded systems. Co-led a team of over 20 engineers through the innovation and de-risk phases of development, leading to a successful design transfer to the client for design-controlled development. Architected and managed implementation of firmware for device and supporting tools, from breadboard prototypes to custom-designed systems demonstrating all desired device features. Leveraged technologies including RFID, LTE, BLE, battery management, pneumatics, and control systems. Advised newly formed client technical team on software development processes.
